STACY ROBIN

Working with clients from a multitude of industries, Stacy positions companies for growth, investment and sale. A frequent speaker for a variety of organizations, she has conducted workshops for both public and private events across North America. In 2010, Stacy was recognized by NJBiz as one of New Jersey's Top Forty under 40 for her commitment to business growth, professional excellence and the community.

Early in her career, Stacy spent time in various consulting roles developing electronic performance support systems and training programs supporting corporate goals and initiatives at Fortune 500 companies. Later, at Xerox Corporation, Stacy managed multinational development teams and workgroups for Global Knowledge and Language Services.

After serving as a Director of Information Technology at Pepperdine University, Stacy founded The Degania Group in 2003 to evaluate and redesign business models, strategies and operations to improve her client's profitability and ensure they remain responsive to change. Stacy later identified a gap in her clients' needs and co-founded Cleversation, integrating and refining business, not-for-profit, and celebrity marketing strategies and campaigns with new media tactics.

An adjunct instructor for NYU since 2005, Stacy’s courses educate entrepreneurs and business leaders on starting, growing and financing their businesses. Stacy has taught in the MBA program at Pepperdine University and for the Entrepreneurship Pioneers Initiative (EPI, a program of the Center for Urban Entrepreneurship and Economic Development) at Rutgers Business School. As an EPI partner, she participated in the redesign of program components, re-wrote curriculum and coached instructors. Stacy also authors blogs and articles for the New York Enterprise Report.

Stacy is an active member of the Young Survival Coalition, the FEGS Business Advisory Council and the UJA's Women's Executive Circle. She is also an EMT for her town's ambulance squad. Stacy has served on ACG NY chapter's Communications Committee and the global ACG Social Media Advisory Committee and was on the board of her town's Economic Development Corporation. In her pre-corporate life, Stacy produced and was published for her non-violent conflict resolution programs in Michigan correctional facilities.

Stacy holds a BA in Language and Communication from the University of Michigan, where she served as a tutor for the English Composition Board and was involved in piloting its first on-line writing lab.

While earning her MA in Communication Management from the Annenberg School at the University of Southern California, Stacy spent time in Europe meeting with executives at multinational corporations, discussing organizational and corporate issues across cultures and nations.

During the completion of her MBA in Business Management from Pepperdine University, Stacy also gained certification in Dispute Resolution from the School of Law. While in the program, she mediated litigated disputes in the Santa Monica, California courts.
